NCSWEOA is a 501(c)(4) nonprofit association comprised of solid waste technicians, specialists, and administrators, environmental health technicians and specialists, code enforcement officers, law enforcement personnel and employees of state and local regulatory agencies with interests in solid waste management.

NCSWEOA is governed by an Executive Committee.

Our Purpose

We promote public health and safety and protection of the environment through the implementation of environmentally compatible solid waste management practices and the enforcement of regulations governing solid waste. 

We do so by keeping abreast of the latest developments in waste management technologies, promoting recycling, and disseminating information concerning solid waste management, legislative updates and regulatory initiatives to the membership and general public.
